Frontline Plastic Wars film release
Frontline Plastic Wars film release
You’re invited to join FRONTLINE’s virtual discussion event on Thursday, April 30th at 6:00am NZ time (original Wednesday, April 29th at 2:00pmEST) for an inside look at a new environmental investigation. In partnership with NPR, and the Investigative Reporting Workshop at American University, FRONTLINE presents a conversation featuring PLASTIC WARS, a documentary that closely examines a mounting crisis: plastic waste in the environment. Despite efforts spreading across the country to reduce the use of plastic, the plastics industry is rapidly scaling up new production and promoting a familiar solution: recycling. But it’s estimated that no more than 10 percent of plastic produced has ever been recycled.
