Here’s a great opportunity to catch up with the WasteMINZ Board and your fellow members, as well as hearing our guest speaker Don Neale from the Department of Conservation, speaking about the Fox River landfill disaster.  You are welcome from 4.30 pm for networking, with the presentation commencing at 5.00 pm.

Don Neale is one of DOC’s resident Marine Experts, and a committee member on the NZ Coastal Society.  He has been involved in the clean-up and his presentation will include details regarding the extent of the contamination, the scale of the clean-up efforts, and what they have all learnt about cleaning up a landfill.

Food and drinks will be provided.
