Welcome to the APPA

APPA is a collaborative forum of researchers, educators, scientists, activists, industry, policymakers, conservationists, artists and more working to mitigate and prevent plastic-related pollution in Aotearoa and Oceania. Please read on if you are keen to explore whether our membership is something for you.

Our membership requirements look to ensure that the individual, organisation or entity are:

• Working/contributing in areas that align to the APPA’s Vision
• Actively contributing to the APPA’s objectives
• Able to contribute time/effort/resources towards enhancing the APPA’s efforts
• Not likely to have a major conflict of interest that would clash with the Charity’s ability to fulfill their Vision

There is a $10 annual fee for your APPA membership that helps us to cover our day-to-day running costs and AGM expenses. We would also appreciate any additional koha if you are willing and able to support us further financially!
